Displayed is a jersey that was game worn by HOF center Peter Forsberg. As of 2021, Forsberg is ninth all-time in NHL career points per game, and fifth all-time in assists-per-game, behind only Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Bobby Orr, and Connor McDavid. Forsberg was on two Stanley Cup winners and won the Calder Memorial Trophy, the Art Ross Trophy, and the Hart Trophy. The tag in the collar states the size as "56." A tag on the lower inside back reads, "MeiGray Group NHL Game Worn Jersey 006-2007 season. D 01675". The jersey is primarily black, with white and orange trim and striping. The front includes the Philadelphia Flyers logo and a white letter "C" for captain. Each sleeve has a black number "21" with orange trim. The back includes "FORSBERG" in white letters with orange trim and the number "21", in white with orange trim. The jersey shows light use, with a few small smudges, some loose threads, and a few abrasions and paint marks. Included is a Letter of Authenticity from the MeiGray Group confirming that this Black Set 1 w/Jersey was worn by Peter Forsberg during the 2006-2007 season. Also included is a MeiGray Group Authentication Program photo of Forsberg wearing the jersey in a game against the Washington Capitals on November 4, 2006, in Philadelphia.
