2008-09 Valtteri Filppula Detroit Red Wings Final Game Worn Jersey
This Winter Classic-inspired Red Wings jersey was worn by Valtteri Filppula on April 11, 2009 as the Red Wings hosted the Chicago Blackhawks. Filppula’s Reebok size 56 jersey features a lace-up collar with the NHL shield above the vintage “D” on the chest it has one solid stick mark is at the top of the “D” and another mark is found lower on the front. A light stick mark and small paint transfer are found on the right sleeve and a red paint transfer and a couple of lighter marks are on the left sleeve. Red Wings logos are on the shoulders, Filppula’s name is sewn directly on the back above his number “51.” Fight strap present inside the back and “April 11, 2011 – Final Game” set tag sewn inside right hip below “35857” inventory number. Filppula scored a power-play goal at 10:59 of the 1st period to knot the game at 1-1. Red Wings LOA.
