2011 Hansen Breeder's Cup Saddle Cloth
Just before his win at the 2011 Breeder's Cup Juvenile, Hansen wore this saddle cloth during exercise after being scratched from the Sprint. The colt - who was nicknamed "White Lightning" and "the Great White Hope" - was ridden to victory by Ramon Dominguez, and eventually retired after suffering a tendon tear. The purple and green saddle cloth reads: "BREEDERS CUP JUVENILE SPRINT HANSEN" and shows minimal traces of wear.
