2015 Washington Capitals Team-Signed Winter Classic Jersey w/Ovechkin
Alternate-style 2015 Washington Capitals signed replica jersey is of the type used during that season's Winter Classic against the Chicago Blackhawks. Jersey is maroon with a large navy "W" with CAPITALS across it in white across the chest. Aside from the white and blue stars on each sleeve, the jersey has no additional patches and back is blank; jersey is unused with original Reebok hang tags. Gifted from a Washington team representative, approximately 21 autographs dot the front in black or silver Sharpie, and included are the great Alexander Ovechkin as well as teammates Karl Alzner, Matt Niskanen, Jay Beagle, Jack Hillen, Troy Brouwer, Brooks Orpik, Braden Holtby, and more. The Caps won that thrilling Classic by a 3-2 margin on a goal by Brouwer in the waning seconds. Ovechkin - already 2nd in goals in NHL history - shows no signs of slowing down as he is at least a couple of seasons away from assailing the all-time mark held by the immortal Wayne Gretzky.
