2016 Nyquist Worn Halter the Day After Preakness (Trainer LOA)
This halter was worn by Nyquist the day after he suffered his first career defeat in the 2016 Preakness. Two weeks earlier, Nyquist had kept his perfect record unblemished with a gallant score in the Kentucky Derby, becoming only the second horse ever to have won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile and the Derby, but was undone by an enervating early pace in the Preakness and finished third. This beautiful halter has "Nyquist" engraved on gold plate and comes with an LOA from the champion and Derby winner's trainer, Doug O'Neill.
