2022 Houston Astros World Series Championship Ring
Spectacular 2022 Houston Astros World Champions ring is simply packed with gemstones, including genuine diamonds. Per the enclosed appraisal certification, this ring is created from 10-karat white and yellow gold with diamonds and created orange and blue sapphires. Face features the Astros "H" logo created from 11 baguette-cut diamonds set atop a star created from 8 custom-cut orange sapphires. The star is set on a border of yellow gold with 71 round diamonds, below which are an additional 117 diamonds encircled by 42 blue sapphires. Bezel reads "World Champions" in yellow gold. The perimeter of the ring top is set with 60 round diamonds. Left shank has the recipient's name (LOPEZ) above a relief of Minute Maid Park. Outline of the state of Texas is set with 17 diamonds and one round created blue sapphire. Right shank bears the year in yellow gold with 28 diamonds, championship trophy with one diamond at top and six set in the base, with an orange and blue created sapphire shaped like stars. Diamonds surround the band, the palm side of which has the LEVELED UP logo. Inside has Astros wordmark logo above team logos and scores from playoff opponents. With their previous World Series title in 2017 tainted by a cheating scandal, the Astros redeemed themselves by earning the top seed and winning the American League Pennant before outlasting the Philadelphia Phillies in a 6-game (4-2) Series. Top items of note in the Series were four Houston hurlers combining to throw just the third no-hitter in WS history in Game 4, and rookie shortstop Jeremy Pena becoming the first player ever to earn MVP honors in both the AL Championship Series and the World Series.
