This lot offers a truly unique multi-signed Official Major League (Selig) baseball penned by 11 different members of MLB’s prestigious 3,000 Hit Club. Derek Jeter, who collected his 3,000th hit on July 9, 2011, is the youngest of the signatures collected on this particular baseball and he found his way onto the sweet spot. Every player's signature on the baseball, save Jeter’s, includes their final hit total underneath their respective autographs. Jeter, who was still playing at the time the baseball was signed, only added his name. The other signatures, with their individual hit totals, include: Pete Rose (4256), Paul Molitor (3319), Eddie Murray (3255), Cal Ripken Jr. (3184), Tony Gwynn (3141), Robin Yount (3142), Dave Winfield (3110), Rickey Henderson (3055), Rod Carew (3053), and Wade Boggs (3016). The signatures are clean and the baseball remains milky white. Comes with authentication from MLB (holo), Steiner (cert) and JSA (LOA).
