4/11/94 Kevin Stevens "Hammered" Pittsburgh Penguins Game Worn Jersey (Photo-Matched)
1993-94 game used Kevin Stevens Pittsburgh Penguins jersey is among the finest we have seen or offered. Photo-matched to April 11th (Getty 93527894). Sensational use is evident including tons of pilling, stick marks, burns, paint transfers, ripped neck, and holes and team repairs extending from the elbow to the end of each sleeve. CCM size 54 tagging in collar has 26 A written on it in faded marker. Road black top has PITTSBURGH extending diagonally down the front of the jersey in yellow-on-black-and-white 3-D style block lettering, with penguin triangle logo patch on each sleeve. Assistant Captain's "A" is on left breast, number 26 is on sleeves and back, name is above rear number on a plate, all in traditional-style yellow-on-white tackle twill. The fight strap has been cut out by the veteran left wing, who has signed the top of the back "5" in thick 8/10 black marker. Stevens' 15-year NHL career was bookended by stops in Pittsburgh, playing the first eight and the final two seasons in the Steel City, winning two Stanley Cups in the process.
