50 Year Run of World Series Press Pins (1948 to 1998) - 98 Pins Total
You'd be hard-pressed to find a more impressive display of World Series press pins than this one, which spans half a century. Beginning with the 1948 Fall Classic that saw the Cleveland Indians defeat the Boston Braves, these pins are all original, with the average condition ranging from EX-MT to NRMT, Only a few are missing the clasp from the back, and there are a few variations (charms or tie clasps). Only one is missing from the entire run: the 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers. Otherwise, all are accounted for: one from each year for the American League and National League champions, with the run concluding with the New York Yankees and San Diego Padres in 1998. There are 98 pins in all.
