Displayed is a great ticket, the full ticket to the MLB debut of Alex Rodriguez on July 8, 1994, as his Seattle Mariners visited the Red Sox at Fenway Park, with Boston winning 4-3 before 33,355. Alex was merely 18 years old and he started the game at shortstop, batting ninth. In his first ever MLB at-bat, he grounded out to third in the top of the third inning. He flied out in the fifth and grounded out in the seventh to finish the game 0-3. He played flawlessly in the field, picking up three assists, including one on a double play. In 54 at bats that season, Rodriguez hit .204 with no home runs. He would go on to also play for the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees in his career. He ended his Major League career, in 2016, with a .295 average and 696 home runs. He scored 2,021 runs, drove in 2,086, had 328 stolen bases and a .930 OPS. In addition, he was a 3-time AL MVP, a 14-time All-Star, won 10 Silver Slugger Awards, had two Gold Gloves, won a batting title, was on the 2009 New York Yankee World Championship team, and had 3,115 hits.
