9/23/01 Tom Brady Replaces Drew Bledsoe PSA 8 & PSA 7 Full Tickets
Pair of historic tickets from a game that literally changed football forever. When the New York Jets traveled to Foxboro to face the New England Patriots in September 23, 2001, the day's focus was appropriately on the fact that it was the Jets' first game since the tragic attacks of 9/11. While New York held on for an unspectacular 10-3 victory, the hidden story was the late-game injury to Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe. This opened the door for one Tom Brady, who played the last series of that game, started the following week, and the rest is immortality. Both of these full tickets from that day are encapsulated in high grade condition, with one grading PSA NM-MT 8 and the other just behind at NM 7.
