Adam Oates joined the Capitals late in the 1996-97 season with Rick Tocchet and Bill Ranford. The next season he helped lead the Capitals to their first Stanley Cup Finals appearance. Road (blue) jersey with size 54 fly tag in neck. Jack Button "Bulldog" Memorial patch sewn on the right chest. Several light marks and a couple of small un-repaired holes on the front. A couple of small marks on the front right sleeve with one team repair. Three board burns on the left sleeve. More stick marks and burns across the lower back. CCM and NHL logos embroidered on the back right hem. Fight strap intact with salt deposits.
