A Hall of Fame pitcher in the game's early days (he would pitch every one of his team's games, winning 57 games one season), president of the Chicago White Stockings, owner of a giant sporting goods company, and publisher of his famed Baseball Guides, Spalding signed this page taken from the front of his classic 1911 book, "America's National Game." 5 x 7 1/2" sheet reads, "To Mr. T.A. Gross with the compliments of A.G,. Spalding, New York, Oct. 20, 1911." In black black fountain pen and NRMT. Page also NRMT with a lovely even brown patina
