Amazing 1914 Boston Braves World Champions Imperial Cabinet Photo (14.5 x 17)
The Boston Braves claimed the 1914 World Championship by climbing from last place on July 4th and sweeping the Philadelphia A's in four games at the World Series by October. The "Miracle Braves", as they were known, did not even have a home field that year. They rented Fenway Park from the Red Sox while awaiting construction of Braves Field. This 14 1/2" x 17" cabinet photo was taken in Fenway Park and is in EX condition mounted to board. This is the original from which prints were made and sold as souvenirs to fans. It is from the estate of manager George Stallings by way of Barry Halper.
