April 26, 1937, Lou Gehrig Signed High Grade Score Card from his First Multi-RBI Game of the Season (PSA & ex-Curt Schilling Collection)

Two years before illness forced his early retirement, Lou Gehrig's name appeared in this beautiful Yankees scorecard from the championship season of 1937. On the date this program was issued, April 26, Gehrig delivered his first multi-RBI game, going 3-5 on the day in helping the Yankees defeat the Philadelphia A's, 7-1 in just the fourth game of the season. This historic booklet measures 6.5x10" and is unscored. There is one minuscule hole on the front cover that made a small indent on each page but otherwise the program is in NM condition and features the Iron Horse's beautiful signature inside, rating 8/10. Originates from Curt Schilling's personal collection and has an LOA from Schilling, There's a PSA as well. Gehrig's Yankees dominated the American League that season, winning it by 13 games before ousting the crosstown Giants in five games - their fifth meeting in the Fall Classic to that point.
