2000 saw his induction into the highly regarded "500 Home Run Club" and 2001 witnessed his journey to baseball immortality. His seventy-two home runs that season will stand long as the single season record and any piece of Barry's game used equipment from that time will appreciate exponentially in years to come. Presented is perhaps one of the finest with such origins, his San Francisco Giants "home" jersey in which he hit homerun number 526 on June 7, 2001. Simple, yet elegant in design, it is sewn with "GIANTS' in triple-layer tackle-twill across the chest and his number "25" on the reverse, with the only other adornment being a single team logo patch on the left sleeve. Bonds' silver felt tip pen inscription "Barry Bonds-HR 526" bursts from the black surface of the "5" to lend additional star power to this Hall of Fame caliber specimen (the bat used to hit this very home run is currently on display in Cooperstown). The tail's tagging includes "Russell Athletic-Authentic Collection" and his own "Barry Bonds Authenticated" tag. Complete with a Barry Bonds Game Used Gear LOA also graded and MEARS LOA (A10).
