Twelve (12) terrific baseball-themed items from the sport’s early days include (8) fancifully-illustrated advert cards, each measuring roughly 3x5”, and selling products such as Wright’s Indian Vegetable Pills, Hassenplug Bros. shoes, Noxall shirts, pants, and overalls, and the Nicollet Island Roller Mill grain, flour, and feed; (3) vintage post cards including The Western Bloomer Girls of Michigan and the Reed and Barton baseball team - a real photo, c. 1916, with hand-written text “Have Team playing at my Hopewell Park-Taunton about 1916, J.R.”; and (1) folded advert scorecard (scored) for a contest between the Brocktons and Haverhills.
