Bee Gees "Saturday Night Fever" movie Ivor Novello Award (12”)
Disco fever spread across the Atlantic and had a generation of blokes and birds doing the hustle. No other group’s funky sound was more contagious though than that of the Bee Gees. Their contributions to the cult classic won them this Ivor Novello Award. The solid bronze statue is mounted to a black-painted wooden base with engraved plaque that reads, “Brothers Gibb BV/RSO Publishing LTD, “Night Fever”, Most Performed British Work, 1978-79”. There is .5” of tarnishing on left neck and a few white paint specks o/w EX.
