Bert Blyleven-Gaylord Perry Knuckleballers Lot
An outstanding collection of items from these two durable pitchers. From Blyleven are a Game Worn Cleveland Indians cap w/28 in marker on the inside of the bill, a home dugout Lineup Card, signed by Blyleven and noted as “Win #200 6/14/85” as well as an 8” x 10” color photo autographed including his #28, and two “1985 Official Batting Order” carbons from the game, Cleveland’s, signed by Manager Pat Corrales and autographed by Blyleven as “Win #200 6/14/85” as well as the visiting club’s signed by Jackie Moore. All of these are in excellent condition, showing little signs of their 20 year age, the Lineup Card being creased in the middle and showing a trace of wear at the top left where it was likely taped to the dugout wall. Also, an Official AL Bobby Brown Game Used ball by Rawlings, autographed by Blyleven noting “50th Shutout Win #201 6/19/85 Indians 2 Angels 0” in excellent condition with some signs of wear, age and discoloration on the ball and 10/10 for the signature. All w/LOAs. From Gaylord Perry, a KC Royals “New Era” Pro Model size 7 1/2 cap w/36 on the inside of the bill over an autographed “Best Wishes” Gaylord Perry in excellent condition with some obvious wear and sweat stains all around the inside of the hat line, a nearly full 13 oz. jar of Vaseline w/Gaylord Perry autograph on top of the lid, and a pair of size 36 Sport-bilt Game Used cleats showing some obvious wear and customization and/or repair along the left front toe and instep w/LOA.
