Bill Gaines Desk & Chair From The MAD Offices
This desk was with Bill for many of the more historical moments of Mad's longevity. The abnormally large size of the piece reflects the girth and presence of the man who once sat behind it. The standing wood desk has all drawers intact, original scribbling, coffee, and food stains along with random phone numbers intact. Obtained in the original MAD auction at Christie's back in 1992.
