Bill Haley & His Comets Concert Poster
Enticing poster promoting Bill Haley and His Comets at Maine's Palace at Old Orchard Beach on May 28, 1963. This 14x22.5" card is in EX condition and features Haley's head in a white circle in the upper-center portion. Hits from the "Shake Rattle and Roll Boys" are listed: "Rip It Up," "See You Later Alligater (sic)," "Teen-Ager's Mother," "Dim Dim the Lights," "Rockin' through the Rye," and his timeless classic "Rock Around the Clock," which is considered to be the first #1 Rock & Roll single. Previously a country artist, Bill Haley continued to perform until his death in 1981.
