Bill Wyman Handwritten Letter (7x8")

Bill Wyman Handwritten Letter (7x8")

A fabulous handwritten letter from Rolling Stones’ bassist, Bill Wyman. Content refers to his family, as well as present and future Rolling Stones records. Dated July 7, 1964 and written in green ballpoint on “The Rolling Stones” letterhead, it reads in part, “Dear Janet… All my family are well - my son is 2 years old & his name is Stephen. My wife’s name is Diane. Hope you liked & bought our new single - we just heard today that it is No. 1 in the Melody Maker. Glad you liked our L.P. so much & hope you like the new E.P. we will be bringing our in about a months time.” The single he refers to is most likely “Tell Me (You’re Coming Back)”, released by the Stones in June, 1964. This was their first original single and their first American Top 40 hit. Signature is a virtual “10” out of a possible 10. Letter is folded twice, otherwise EX.
