"Black Jack" Pershing Signed Baseball
This Spalding Official League baseball is inscribed and signed by General John "Black Jack" Pershing, who presented the ball to Hall of Fame second baseman John Evers of "Tinker to Evers to Chance" fame. The inscription reads: "Souvenir of an old general, young baseball amateur to his teacher, the champion John Evers." An interesting piece for the baseball or Americana collector.
