Bob Dylan Signed Broadside Cover
True-blue Dylanites know well the name of Broadside, Agnes Cunningham's magazine devoted to topical songs and songwriters of the early '60s. Broadside, which also had a show on WBAI radio, cut demos as well (some of these tapes are now cult classics), and ran sheet music and lyrics in the magazine. In issue #23, it published Bob Dylan's "Train a-Travelin' " with a great cover illustration and the lyrics inside. Dylan has signed the cover, "Bob Dylan '63" and seemed to correct the title, writing in, "Train is a travelin'", as well as making a few doodle scrawls. Signature in pencil is EX. Broadside cover is EX with a piece of the right lower corner torn out. Fantastic Dylan history.
