Bob "Hound Dog" Kelly Game Worn Stanley Cup Finals Jersey
During the mid 70's the Flyers were one of the most intimidating teams ever to be assembled in NHL history. Known as the Board Street Bullies they literally fought their way to the Stanley Cup Finals. And Bob “Hound Dog” Kelly played a big role in their winning the 1974-75 Stanley Cup; it was such a big role that he scored the game winning goal 11 seconds into the 3rd period of Game 6 to clinch the Stanley Cup Championship. This is the jersey he wore as he scored the goal that night, never before has a hockey jersey of this significance been offered. The jersey is a beautiful bright orange, with the classic Flyers logo on the front. The game wear is phenomenal, with a nice tear sewn repair to the right of the logo; it’s made of a heavy double knit material. The pilling inside and out of the jersey is great. The jersey has a great autograph signed by Bob on the hem of the jersey. It comes with a LOA from Mitchell Marketing signed by Bob Kelly stating the provenance of the jersey.
