Bob Seger Gold Record
In the pre-CD era, when cassettes were considered high-tech, Capitol Records presented this very rare combination gold record/gold cassette award to Bob Seger in 1975 after his Silver Bullet Band's "Beautiful Loser" album sold 500,000 copies. The gold items are mounted above a plaque and picture of the LP cover against a black background and black frame. 17 x 21", Mint conditon. Seger deserved an award for the line in the title track: "He wants to dream like a young man with the wisdom of an old man."
