Bobby Hull Chicago Blackhawks Game Used Stick

Displayed is a Bobby Hull game used stick from the early 1970s, when the Hall of Fame left wing was with the Chicago Black Hawks. "The Golden Jet" was Hull's nickname, and he received that sobriquet because of his blonde hair, his skating speed and the speed of his shot. Hull played 23 years in the NHL and WHA. Hull was with Chicago (1957/58-1971/72), Winnipeg, of the WHL (1972/73-1978-79), Winnipeg, of the NHL (1979-80) and Hartford, of the NHL (1979-80). He was on the Stanley Cup winning Chicago Black Hawks (1961) and helped the Winnipeg Jets to win the AVCO Cup, the WHA Championship in 1975-76 and in 1977-78. Hull was a 2-time winner of the Hart Trophy and a 3-time winner of the Ross Trophy. Hull had the perfect combination of skating speed and shot power. His skating speed was measured at 29.7 MPH, and his shot once registered 118.3 MPH. Hull scored 50 or more goals five times in the NHL and four times in the WHA. He had 610 goals and 560 assists for 1,170 points in the NHL and 303 goals and 335 assists for 638 points in the WHA for an incredible 913 goals, 895 assists for 1,808 points overall. The Northland Custom Pro Gunzo stick is for a left-handed shot. Hull's number "9" is handwritten by an unknown hand in black marker on the shaft. The stick shows fine use, with original tape on blade and butt ends. Seeing Hull play brought electricity to any hockey arena as he raced down the wing and fired a bullet slapshot at goal. The great Bobby Hull passed away on Jan. 30, 2023, and his game used stick provides a great remembrance of The Golden Jet. It will provide a great point of interest for anyone experiencing your collection.
