Bobby Orr Signed Boston Garden Seating Chart (PSA)

Bobby Orr Signed Boston Garden Seating Chart (PSA)

If you're a Boston Bruins hockey fan, and you are going to possess a colorful seating chart of the Boston Garden, who would be the ideal person to autograph it? To the architect's family, it might be the architect. But to most Boston Bruin fans, or even hockey fans in general, the ideal person to autograph the seating chart would the miraculous Bobby Orr. Voila! He did. Orr did nothing less than revolutionize the game of hockey. Before Orr, NHL defensemen would only occasionally rush deep into the offensive zone. Orr's superior skating, great stick handling, and superb strategic vision changed all of that. Orr became like a basketball point guard - the key part of the Bruin attack. He was amazing. In his peak years, 1969-70 through 1974-75, all with Boston, he scored over 30 goals each season and totaled over 100 points in each of those campaigns. He helped Boston to two Stanley Cups and received numerous awards: 2-time Ross; 3-time Hart; and 8-time Norris. The vivid seating chart (of floor level) measures 17.5x32.25", framed at 19.25x33.75". Orr signed the seating chart in neat, large script with a black Sharpie, writing, "To my friend Steve Best Wishes Bobby Orr." The seating chart actually hung in the Boston Garden. This visually appealing piece presents an unusual remembrance of one of the greatest players in hockey history. Comes with PSA LOA for signature.
