Bobby Orr Signed Flying Goal Photograph
<p>Bobby Orr is in flight! Pictured is the moment on May 10, 1970 in the Boston Garden, just after Orr scored the winning goal against the St. Louis Blues in sudden death overtime to give the Boston Bruins their first Stanley Cup since 1941. In the next split-second, as Bobby was starting to celebrate, he was tripped by Blues' defenseman Noel Picard. Orr didn't mind; he was airborne and enjoying it, so he extended his arms and enjoyed the flight. Just before the goal, Orr, a defenseman, was deep into Blues' territory. Orr had passed to Derek Sanderson near the goal. Orr cut across the goal, took a return pass from Sanderson and scored. Orr had a season for the ages in 1969-70. He scored 33 goals and added 87 assists for 120 points. He won the Hart, Ross, Norris and Con Smythe Trophies. The Hall of Famer has signed the black and white photo "To my friend Seve Good Luck Always Bobby Orr #4". The photograph was taken by Ray Lussier, and it measures 15x19", matted and framed to 21.25x25.25". Orr signed in neat, large script with a marker, with a signature that is 9/10. What a combination: The top defenseman of all-time, scoring a Stanley Cup overtime winning goal and launching himself in exuberant glee. A marvelous photo, and a great Bobby Orr signature on likely the most iconic photo in hockey history.</p>
