Historic scorecard from the most famous home run in baseball history--Bobby Thompson's 9th inning blast off Ralph Branca on October 3, 1951 that gave the Giants the National League Pennant and broke the hearts of Brooklyn fans. This Giants 1951 program measures 7 x 10" and shows the old Polo Grounds on the cover with the logos of the other 7 National League clubs. The inside includes the complete lineups for this historic game and is neatly scored in pencil and black ink. Great vintage ads, articles and photgraphs including a full page shot of Giants manager Leo Durocher are inside. Very small stain on the lower righthand corner of the cover, otherwise NRMT.
