Boston Braves Jimmy Fund Donation Container

Very rare white plaster bank modeled after a very large one that sat on the street in Boston was used to collect funds for children's cancer research. It is in the shape of a baseball that sits on top of a base. The seams are painted red and in raised red lettering on opposite sides, "Jimmy". Other side has Braves logo in red, raised lettering and opposite side has a raised red heart with gold lettered "The Variety Club" inside the heart. These containers were used at the Boston ball parks and around the town to collect donations. EX condition with a small puncture near the top. From the late 1940's or early '50's.
