With beautiful artwork and a very relevant theme, Bowman produced its iconic Red Menace set during the heart of the Cold War, capturing the political spirit of the times. This complete set of 48 (45 with tan backs and 3 gray backs) grade a lofty 21% NM or better, 31% EX-MT, 33% EX, and 15% slightly lesser. Key cards include #1 (EX), 19 (EX), 23 (‘Ghost City’, EX+), and 47 (NM). Also included are 5 duplicates, all grey backs and grading EX-MT or better. There’s a good number that might be worth grading, they are that nice. Enjoy this very attractive and high grade offering of a classic 1950’s issue.Total of 53 cards.
