Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band Vintage Signed Born To Run Album Cover
Just wrap your legs ‘round these velvet rims and strap your hands across my engines. That’s just one small example of Springsteen lyrics that have been burned into the American consciousness. Offered here is the Boss’ third album cover “Born to Run” spread out flat, matted and framed. What makes it really special is that all of the members of the band signed this cover when it first came out back in 1975. Signatures from Bruce, Max Weinberg, Danny Federici, Roy Bittan, and Gary Tallent. Everyone is here except for Clarence Clemons, who can easily be added. This is perhaps the best thing to have signed by Springsteen. The album is signed “To Mike,” who is Mike Batlan. Batlan is perhaps most noted for being the guitar roadie who in January of 1982 was asked by Bruce to pick him up a little tape machine (nothing too sophisticated) which became the basis of the classic album Nebraska. Album cover is approximately 25 X 12-1/2” and the frame is 32-7/8 X 20-1/8.” Take it home because tramps like us, baby we were born to run. Condition of album and signatures EX-MT. Comes with LOA.
