Bruce Springsteen "Child" Poster
The Pandemonium on Route 35 at the Shore Motel in Ocean, New Jersey saw Bruce's third live performance, with his band Child in May 1969. He returned with Child (which included Danny Federici) on July 15, as shown by this framed poster for the gig emblazoned "It's a Birthquake with Child" and picturing the band with Bruce at left under a bird's nest hairdo. Among the oldest surviving posters of a Bruce gig, it recalls a legendary story that after a fight with the club's manager Child was banned from the club. 16 x 23" poster is light brown and black with a black bordered frame, and is in absolutely pristine condition.
