Bruce Springsteen The New Satellite Lounge Poster (18x19")

Bruce Springsteen The New Satellite Lounge Poster (18x19")

Charming poster for Feb. 23, 1974 advertised probably the most unusual performance of Bruce Springsteen's career. It was the first show with new E Street drummer, Ernest "Boom" Carter. Bruce had originally intended to cancel the date since Carter had not yet rehearsed with the band and knew none of the songs. However, when the club owner threatened legal action if they didn't go on, Bruce was forced to perform only vintage rock songs which Carter already knew and the concert went off without a hitch. Emphasized on poster is "One Show Only". "Tix available at Perlmutters, Trenton, Red Hen, Philly and at the Club." VG-EX with tear on bottom edge, small creases and two small pinholes at top corners.
