Burleigh Grimes Single-Signed Baseball (PSA NM-MT 8 Auto)
Sparkling baseball is single-signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Burleigh Grimes. Spalding Little League ball is bright white and NRMT, and Grimes has signed the sweet spot in bold 8/10 blue fiber tip marker. Notation on side panel, also in blue fiber tip marker, indicates that it was "Signed by Burleigh Grimes at the 'Otesaga Hotel,' Cooperstown, N.Y. on 8/2/81." This would explain the somewhat shaky quality of the autograph, as the 270-game winner was just weeks from his 88th birthday at the time of signing. Comes with JSA letter, and auto is graded PSA 8.
