Cal Ripken Game Used Base from His Final Game at Yankee Stadium
It was an emotional day at Yankee Stadium for all baseball fans, and for Cal Ripken as well. The Baltimore Orioles finished out the season with a 3-game set at the Yankees in front of a sold out crowd. It was the final game in Yankee Stadium for the icon of perserverance. Twenty-one years, the highlights, the friendships, “The Streak”, all came to an end. And here is a valuable momento from Cal Ripken, Jr.'s final appearance as a player at Yankee Stadium on September 30, 2001. Nice trampling of dirt on top. Sides adorned with 4 affixed plates. Two display his number "8", one displays the Yanks "NY" team logo, and one displays the MLB logo. Authentic MLB hologram sticker on bottom.
