Cal Ripken, Jr. Retirement Home Plate

Cal Ripken, Jr. Retirement Home Plate

On October 6, 2001 the curtain came down on the baseball career of Cal Ripken, Jr. Has there ever been a more popular player? It's not just that he broke Lou Gehrig' consecutive game streak, garnered 3,100 hits, 431 homers and 1,700 RBIs. He rewrote the book on nice. From his retirement game, we present the commemorative home plate bearing the MLB trade mark logo for his HOF career. The plate displays use in the form of soiling and the various baseball cleats that stepped on it. Came from from the Cal Ripken collection with a letter of verification. To Cal, we still say thanks for the memories.
