California Chrome Worn Halter (Taylor Made LOA)
With a modest pedigree and relatively unknown connections, California Chrome's rise to horse racing's elite was nothing short of meteoric. The plucky colt won the 2014 Kentucky Derby and Preakness, but was denied Triple Crown glory in that year's Belmont Stakes. Nonetheless, he continued to notch major victories and establish himself as one of the best horses of his generation until his retirement in 2016. The halter worn by Chrome has a gold plate engraved "California Chrome" and comes with an LOA from Taylor Made Stallions VP Ben Taylor.
