Cardinals Hall of Fame Plaque Collection (49)
The Cardinals Hall of Fame is the official repository for more than 100 years of baseball history in St. Louis, honoring Cardinals players, executives and legendary broadcaster Jack Buck in the Baseball Hall of Fame and other important HOFers as well. This collection of 49 plaques represents a wonderful cross-section of those all-time greats. Each wood plaque features a facial photograph of the honoree above a list of his playing record and statistics. Plaques are all EX-MT, and measure 10” x 14 or 15”. Includes: Bob Gibson, Stan Musial, Steve Carlton, Dizzy Dean, Ozzie Smith, Lou Brock, Leo Durocher, Rogers Hornsby, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Red Schoendienst, Orlando Cepeda, Branch Rickey (who practically invented baseball’s minor-league system as Cardinal president), Cy Young, John McGraw, John Mize, George Sisler, Wilbert Robinson, Tommy McCarthy, Mordecai Brown, Bill McKechnie, Kid Nichols, Roderick Lawless, Rabbit Maranville, Roger Conner, Jesse Haines, Satchel Paige (who pitched for the Cardinals’ Springfield minor league team when he was around 60 years old), Chick Hafey, Jake “Eagle Eye” Beckley, Dazzy Vance, Ed Plank, Heinie Manush, Jack Buck, Miller Huggins, Hoyt Wilhelm, Jim Bottomley, Burleigh Grimes, Pud Galvin, Clark Griffith, “Ducky” Joe Medwick, Goose Goslin -- and more!
