Carl Hubbell Original Painting by Lance Richbourg
A visually stunning water color on paper of the New York Giants Hall of Fame pitcher Carl Hubbell was completed by noted artist Lance Richbourg in 1989. The textures and composition Richbourg achieved using watercolors demonstrate a level of expertise with this medium. The likeness is uncanny and the cool blue and gray hues are exceptionally pleasing to the eyes. The original watercolor is framed in a shadow box type frame and the overall sized of the framed image is 25 x 32 1/2", the watercolor on paper measures 22 x 30". The overall condition of the painting is NRMT, with some wrinkling due to the technique employed, but otherwise pristine. This piece serves as both an incredible work of fine art as well as baseball memorabilia.
