Case of 1968 Sports Illustrated Watches in Original Boxes (8)

Case of 1968 Sports Illustrated Watches in Original Boxes (8)

Never before seen case from the manufacturer's family. There are eight watches here in their individual original 9x6.5" boxes: Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Tom Seaver, Joe Torre (2), Ernie Banks (2), and Ferguson Jenkins. Each watch is in its original box with acetate lid that shows off the watch, color "baseball card" (meant to be cut out), and advertising insert. All this is in an original white cardboard slipcover with name of the player. Watches are gorgeous with amazing full-color image of the player on the face. Watches and boxes are mint. They are known as the Sports Illustrated watches because they were advertised in the magazine. They are actually the "Major League Super Star Watch" by Ross Continental. Ross, now grown, was the young grandson of the owner of the company, and these watches were obtained from him. NRMT.
