Catfish Hunter Game Used Perfect Game Ball
In over 125 years of Major League play, there have been only 17 perfect games recorded, including one by Jim “Catfish” Hunter of the Oakland A’s against the Minnesota Twins on May 8, 1968. Hunter dominated the game, striking out 11 Twins and prevented any members of the hard-hitting Minnesota lineup including Harmon Killebrew, Rod Carew and Tony Oliva from reaching first base. Hunter signed attractive official American League baseball after the game in black ink “Best Wishes, Jim Catfish Hunter.” The signature is bold and clean, rating a “9.5” out of a possible 10. The ball shows obvious game use and comes with LOA. Fabulous memento of a HOFer and a gentleman.
