Chandler, Cronin And Frick Signed Letters To Leo Cloutier
Group of three typed/signed letters to Leo Cloutier, the founder of the long-running Manchester (NH) Baseball Dinners. Joe Cronin on Red Sox letterhead from January 6, 1949, stating he would attend if available at the February 3rd affair. Simply signed "Joe" in blue fountain pen (7/10). Albert B. Chandler on Commissioner Of Baseball letterhead dated April 11, 1951, thanking Cloutier for the great time he had at the dinner earlier in the year. Signed in full in blue fountain pen (9/10). Lastly, Ford Frick, as the new Commissioner from December 31, 1951 on "Office Of The Commissioner" letterhead politely turning down Cloutier's invitation to appear at the 1952 dinner. Boldly signed in black (10/10). All three Hall of Famer letters are in Excellent condition with mailing folds.
