Circa 1900 "Direct Hal" Horse Racing Celluloid Mirror
This is a vintage advertising pocket mirror from circa 1900 for a harness horse trotting race track at Wellsville, NY. Of handsome design in celluloid, it consists of excellent structural shape with minor wear, and measures 2" in diameter. Direct Hal had been called the "Horse of the Century," and was greatest horse of his day, a record breaker at 2.04. Excellent condition overall.
