He was more popular in San Francisco than even Willie Mays. Even marijuana smuggling couldn’t keep the Baby Bull out of the Hall of Fame, his power numbers were just too great. Hillerich & Bradsby S2 is great proof of his power at the plate. This heavy piece of lumber accompanied Cepeda into the spotlight during the height of his career. Great use, up and down with cracked handle, which has been repaired with small nails. The “PH” written on the knob in black marker may have been to denote this bat as the one he used to pinch-hit. Small pinholes at either end from being previously mounted.
