Circa 1964 Mel Queen Cincinnati Reds Game Worn Hat

Mel Queen had quite and interesting baseball career. He started as a third baseman, was a reliable pinch hitter, dabbled in the outfield and was even a pitcher. Later in his career he got into coaching and even was the Blue Jays interim manager for the final five games of the 1997 season after Cito Gaston was fired. From his early days in baseball comes this circa 1964 Cincinnati Reds road grey hat. Wilson size 6 7/8, this hat has the umber "22" stamped on the inside. Although this has shrunk somewhat, it still present well and has that overwhelming 1960's appearance and feel. Nice Reds piece...
