Circa 1968-69 Pete Stemkowski Detroit Red Wings Game-Worn Jersey
A striking Durene example from the Motor City worn by Pete Stemkowski features the classic spoked winged wheel proudly on the crest. Three repairs on the lower front hem along with red and blue paint transfers on the right hip area. Six repairs are present on the right sleeve along with four additional repairs on the left sleeve. A few scattered un-repaired holes are present on the back left sleeve near the elbow. Olympic Sporting Goods Detroit tag sewn into the collar above two small fly tags – one reading size “44” and the other being washed out underneath. More blue paint transfers on the back and nice pilling inside the sleeves along the seams. An excellent example from an Original 6 franchise.
