Circa 1969 New York Mets Jacket

Circa 1969 New York Mets Jacket

Awesome warm-up jacket, emanating from the Miracle Mets team, who made the Mets the first expansion team to win a World Series. This blue jacket with bright orange lining probably belonged to Ed Charles, Mets third baseman who wore the number 5 (1967-69), as the number “5” is written on the collar tag in faded black marker. Jacket is adorned with the “NY” logo in orange on the left breast and a circular Mets team patch on the left sleeve. Collar tagging is “Aladen Athletic Wear” with a [size] 42 flag tag.
