Circa 1971 Wayne Bell Omaha Knights Game Worn Jersey

Circa 1971 Wayne Bell Omaha Knights Game Worn Jersey

The Omaha Knights have popped up in various iterations and leagues since 1939. Their affiliation with the NHL began in 1959 and continued until 1975, and they served as the minor league club for the Atlanta Flames at the end of their run. This game-worn jersey circa 1971 was donned by Wayne Bell, goalie for the Knights. It is all an all-original, blue jersey with red and white trim. "KNIGHTS" is sewn diagonally on the front with the number 30 on the back. The tie from the neck/collar area is missing, though it does have an Olympic tag in the collar, with washing instructions inside the tail. There are some stick marks, unrepaired holes and snags, and pilling throughout the jersey. It has seen nice use and comes with a Letter of Authenticity.
